Individuals' attitudes towards their spouses and relationship, including the emotional climate of marriage are essential for a satisfying marriage. In an unhealthy climate, on other hand, severe symptoms may emerge. One these is focus-on-child, where child-related issues often cause marital conflicts. The conflicts due to focus-on-child also increase experiential avoidance as coping style in relationship. purpose examine mediating role relationship between focus child satisfaction. hundred fifty-nine married dyads participated study. They completed Family Genogram Interview Form which consists Focus Child Subscale, Acceptance Action Questionnaire-II, Relationship Assessment Scale, Demographic Information Form. Findings Common Fate Mediation Model indicated that explained 55% variance Experiential has fully mediated indicate maladaptive methods (i.e., focus-on-child) trigger behaviors negatively affect To improve satisfaction, we propose spouses' psychological flexibility self-differentiation (less child) levels should be enhanced.
